RHONY Alum Leah McSweeney’s Lawsuit Leaves Bravo Dodging Trial

Leah McSweeney has ended her long-running legal battle with Bravo and Andy Cohen. More than two years after the former Real Housewives of New York City star filed her lawsuit, the parties have reached a settlement. The agreement ends the dispute before trial. However, neither side has revealed the terms of the deal.

Andy Cohen and Bravo settle explosive drinking allegations

According to Page Six, McSweeney voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit on October 30. All parties agreed to the dismissal, while court records show she dropped the claims with prejudice.

That means McSweeney cannot bring the same claims again.

Her attorney, Gary Adelman, said his team was “extremely satisfied with the outcome.” He also praised McSweeney for her “perseverance.”

McSweeney originally sued Cohen, Bravo and other defendants in 2024. She alleged that producers exploited her alcohol use disorder and pressured her to drink to create more dramatic television.

She also claimed producers mocked her sobriety and failed to accommodate requests to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings while filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

The legal battle survived a major challenge in 2025. A federal judge allowed several of McSweeney’s disability-related claims to continue after Bravo failed to get the entire lawsuit dismissed.

Then, in March 2026, another ruling kept the dispute in public court after Bravo failed to move the case into arbitration.

McSweeney later expanded the legal battle. In May 2026, she accused a Bravo executive of helping coordinate a smear campaign against her after she filed suit.

Her original complaint also accused Cohen of using cocaine with favored Bravolebrities and rewarding them with better treatment. Cohen firmly denied those allegations, while Bravo said an outside investigation found the misconduct claims against him unsubstantiated.

Now, the settlement ends the legal battle before a trial could examine McSweeney’s remaining claims. Neither Bravo nor Cohen has publicly admitted wrongdoing.

The agreement brings one of Bravo’s most closely watched legal disputes to a close, although its terms remain private.
