Todd Chrisley Says Savannah’s Marriage Comes With Major Financial Perk

Todd Chrisley believes his daughter Savannah Chrisley has found both emotional and financial security with her husband, Jason Galanis. Speaking on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast on October 29, Todd praised Galanis, calling him “brilliant.” He also described their relationship as one of the greatest love stories he has witnessed.

Todd’s comments came shortly after Savannah, 29, announced her pregnancy with her first child. PEOPLE confirmed that Galanis was the father and revealed that the couple had secretly married on July 14 at Cayman Islands Baptist Church.

Speaking about Savannah’s new life, Todd said, “And she is emotionally set for life, but she’s financially set for life.” He added, “She was good on her own, not like she is today.” Todd also revealed that he has dinner with the couple “every night” and gets to see their bond closely.

Although Todd and Galanis have different political views, he said he approves of the marriage as long as his son-in-law continues treating Savannah well. He said, “If you just love my daughter 50% of how I’ve loved her mother [Julie Chrisley] and how I love her mother, then I’m okay with it.”

Todd also recalled Savannah telling him a year into their relationship, “This is who I’m going to have my children with. I like the DNA. I like his mind. He’s a brilliant man, and he is the kindest. I’ve never felt safer with anyone other than with my mom and daddy.”

Savannah has similarly praised their relationship, calling it the “dream relationship” on her podcast. She said there has been no “drama and chaos and dysfunction” between them. She also praised Galanis for working hard to buy her an “insane” engagement ring.

The couple began dating in July 2025 and married in the Cayman Islands in July 2026. Galanis, a former associate of Hunter Biden and businessman Devon Archer, received a 189-month prison sentence in September 2020 for multiple securities fraud schemes.

He later testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into then-President Joe Biden in March 2024. President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.
