John Travolta has another action thriller heading to streaming, but this time he is not working alone. The Gentleman Thief brings together several familiar faces, including DJ Khaled and Quavo.
The Gentleman Thief streams on Hulu starting October 30. The movie also marks Travolta’s latest appearance as Mason Goddard, a character he has played in three crime movies. The veteran thief returns for another complicated assignment after two previous outings.
Although The Gentleman Thief received a digital release in July and a limited theatrical run shortly afterward, Hulu now offers another way to catch the latest installment. The movie joins the platform’s October lineup on October 30.
What is John Travolta’s new heist movie about?
At the center of The Gentleman Thief is Mason Goddard, who has built a peaceful life for himself after walking away from crime. Mason’s retirement includes owning a golf course, but his younger brother, Shawn, soon gives him a reason to reconsider.
Shawn introduces Mason to a valuable opportunity involving an artwork worth $100 million. The painting is connected to an auction in Miami, and the plan requires the crew to take it from a yacht. Mason eventually agrees to get involved, bringing his former associates back together for the operation.
However, the job carries more risks than the group initially expects. Odessa, Mason’s former partner, gets involved, while a dangerous criminal named Abel also stands in their way. The crew must navigate the competing interests surrounding the painting while trying to pull off the theft.
Travolta returns as Mason, with Lukas Haas playing his brother Shawn and Rebecca De Mornay appearing as Odessa. The supporting cast includes Sam Asghari, Quavo and DJ Khaled.
Directed by Randall Emmett and written by Chris Sivertson, The Gentleman Thief follows Cash Out (2024) and High Rollers (2025). It completes the crime trilogy centered on Mason Goddard’s repeated attempts to leave his criminal life behind.
The movie will begin streaming on Hulu on October 30.
