Katy Perry celebrated her 42nd birthday with an adventurous getaway alongside Justin Trudeau. The singer shared a collection of personal photos from their nature-filled escape, offering fans a glimpse into the couple’s romantic time together.

Perry marked the occasion with rock climbing, kayaking and stunning views of towering red cliffs reflected in calm water. One photograph showed her climbing a rocky surface while wearing a blue helmet, sunglasses and bright green gloves. Other pictures captured the breathtaking landscape and the couple enjoying their outdoor adventure.
However, the carousel also included a more romantic moment. Perry shared a kissing photo with Trudeau, making it clear that the former Canadian prime minister joined her for the special celebration. She also included a picture of a small device called Brick, which helps block distracting phone applications and encourages users to spend less time on their screens.
“Climbed to level 42 this week!” Perry wrote in her caption. She admitted feeling indifferent about the “inbetweeness” of turning 42. However, someone explained that the number was “actually the answer to everything”. “Though I still don’t understand, I’m OK with turning 42 as long as I can turn 42 with you ♥️ back to living…” she added.
The birthday message offered another glimpse into Perry and Trudeau’s relationship, which first attracted attention in July 2025. The pair were spotted together during an outing in Montreal. Since then, they have appeared increasingly comfortable sharing moments publicly. Last month, Perry opened up about their connection in an interview with “PEOPLE“. She called Trudeau “the love of my life” while reflecting on the personal changes she experienced over the previous year.
“I got to meet Justin on tour, and then things shifted,” she said. Perry also discussed her previous relationship with Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy. She described that chapter as an important learning experience that helped her move forward. Additionally, the singer praised Trudeau for supporting her music career. He attended multiple shows during her tour and, according to Perry, knows the words to her songs. “He is really heart-centered, and I think that we align in that way. I’m so grateful,” she said.
