Chris Sullivan will share the screen with a Silo star in an upcoming thriller. Early details on the project have been revealed.
According to Deadline, Sullivan has joined Jeremy Holm to star in Tessellation, screenwriter Michael Moreci’s feature directorial debut. Production on the new thriller film has already begun in Illinois.
Sullivan is best known for playing Toby Damon in the acclaimed NBC drama This Is Us. The performance earned him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. His credits also include The Knick, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Stranger Things, among others.
Alongside Silo, Holm has also appeared in House of Cards, The Blacklist, Mr. Robot, Blue Bloods, and more. He has also appeared in the 2018 slasher horror film The Ranger.
Other cast members of Tessellation include The Righteous Gemstones star Stephen Louis Grush and The Human Centipede actor Winter Williams.
Tessellation follows a disgraced puzzle champion caught in a deadly conspiracy
Michael Moreci’s Tessellation follows disgraced puzzle champion and CIA codebreaker Anton, played by Holm, as he becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy. The ordeal forces him to confront the one mystery that has always eluded him: why his wife had to die.
“Tessellation is very much a movie for our times,” the director said in a recent statement. “Nothing is real, fringe paranoia has become mainstream, and we’re losing our ability to even verify the truth.”
Moreci added, “We’re following in the footsteps of The Conversation, Blow Out, and The Parallax View, movies that also dealt with paranoia and distrust, and I’m proud to carry forward the tradition of these important films.”
Moreci also serves as a producer on Tessellation alongside Robert Patrick Stern, Kevin Lau, and Stephen Mastrocola. Executive producers include Damian Wassel, Jen Shelby, Rhett Bruno, and Steven Beaulieu of Aethon Books. Meanwhile, Stephanie Slife is the line producer.
