Prince William’s surprise appearance on The Graham Norton Show has reportedly left Prince Harry unimpressed. A source claims that the Duke of Sussex sees his older brother’s growing comfort in the spotlight as yet another attempt to outdo him.

According to Now To Love, William joined Cate Blanchett, Hannah Waddingham, and Robert Irwin on The Graham Norton Show on Oct. 23. The Prince of Wales was there to promote his Earthshot Prize initiative. The appearance came just days after Prince Harry’s interview with GQ. In the interview, Harry said he wanted to reconcile with his father, King Charles, and his estranged brother.
“With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile — that’s the key point,” he said.
Harry’s comments have already sparked speculation about a possible reconciliation between the two brothers. As per previous reports, Prince Harry wishes to reconcile with his family. A separate report examined the criticism Harry has drawn after choosing to speak publicly about the family rift.
Meanwhile, royal experts Tom Sykes and Paula Froelich discussed William’s television appearance on The Royalist YouTube channel. Sykes detected a change in approach by Prince William, suggesting that he is ready to “up his game.”
Froelich, meanwhile, argued that William appeared more comfortable in front of the camera than his younger brother. She also referred to Prince William’s connections with the upper echelons, including David and Victoria Beckham, Tom Cruise, and Robert Irwin. A source opined that William might enjoy the prospect of outdoing Harry in popularity among celebrities. Harry, however, is reportedly unimpressed by the development.
“Harry’s always accused William of having a need to show him up, so no doubt he’s looking at all this and taking it as more proof of how petty his brother can be,” the source said.
The rift between the two brothers began after Harry and Meghan decided to give up their royal duties and moved to California.
