The show’s return will also bring new developments for its favorite characters as they navigate changes at the hospital.
St. Denis Medical Season 3 hits NBC and Peacock next month
St. Denis Medical is returning to NBC next month, with Season 3 set to premiere on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The latest season of the medical comedy will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
The series continues its mockumentary-style look at an understaffed Oregon hospital, where employees must manage the demands of patient care alongside the administrative and personal complications.
The new season will bring further complications for the hospital’s employees, including changes following Ron’s medical leave and growing tensions among members of the staff. Joyce remains focused on her administrative ambitions, while Bruce faces a personal struggle.
In a previously released trailer, Joyce launches a campaign to be named Best Hospital Administrator, while Ron returns to find that his desk has been converted into a urine testing station. He also faces competition from Dr. Highland, the physician who filled in during his absence and has since become popular with the staff.
The situation puts Ron under pressure and frustrates Alex. Meanwhile, Matt and Serena grow closer despite Joyce’s warning against workplace romances. The clip also teases an unusual case involving an animal bite.
The principal cast returning for Season 3 includes Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce, David Alan Grier as Ron, Allison Tolman as Alex, Kaliko Kauahi as Val, Mekki Leeper as Matt, Khayun Kim as Serena, and Josh Lawson as Bruce. Damon Wayans will guest-star as Dr. Highland, while Ariana Madix is also set to appear again as Dr. Brooke Emerson.
