Tracy Tutor discusses her $30,000 monthly clothing budget
Tracy Tutor recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, where she discussed the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Tutor said, “It’s a lot. I’m exhausted. I don’t really have time for any kind of social life right now. I just lock myself in my house when I’m done filming, and then I work, and when I’m not filming.”
Tutor explained that filming RHOBH is not just about their time in front of the camera, but significant work goes into being wardrobe-ready. Lewis asked, “From what I remember, you said you spend about $30,000 a month on clothes. Did you have to up that budget for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?”
Tutor said, “I’m not going to say that the budget has gone up. It’s just a longer period of time that we’re shooting. I mean, you know, there’s you’re shooting four or five days a week sometimes. [It’s] a lot of looks.” (via Showbiz Cheatsheet)
She revealed that she is currently filming new episodes, but she doesn’t have to be glamorous all day.
“For like big events, I’ll do something [new] because, you know, sometimes it’s a theme or sometimes it’s a little bit different, and you need something a little more special. But, you know, there’s a lot. There’s a lot of jeans. You know, when you’re at home, what are you throwing on, a gown to go to the mailbox?” Tutor said.
She also shared the RHOBH casting process and added that there were no negotiations about money. Tutor joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 16. She has previously appeared on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
