That support may be especially welcome because not everyone around Johnson is reportedly as enthusiastic. Friends have allegedly warned her about MGK’s “bad boy” reputation and questioned whether their long-term goals align.
Still, Johnson and MGK have continued spending time together. Their connection reportedly grew after they reconnected at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July. Johnson was later reported to have made the first move before the two began appearing together more frequently.
The Dakota Johnson MGK romance has remained somewhat undefined. More recently, a source claimed Johnson is not ready to commit and wants to maintain her independence despite MGK reportedly pursuing her seriously.
Paltrow’s apparent support carries added significance because of her history with Johnson.
