According to The Daily Beast, Donald Trump drew attention to his appearance before departing for two campaign rallies in Texas ahead of the November midterm elections. After briefly speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, the president boarded Air Force One with his shirt collar unbuttoned, revealing a noticeable contrast between his tanned face and paler neck.

The president has long used tanning products, bronzer, and makeup to maintain his signature look. However, the apparent lack of blending has attracted renewed attention since he returned to the White House for a second term.

Additionally, Trump appeared to have a noticeable patch of concealer on his right hand. The White House has previously attributed bruising on his hands to frequent handshaking and aspirin use. However, the explanation has not addressed reports of bruises appearing on both hands.

Trump’s recent campaign appearances have also drawn attention to his appearance. Observers have noticed his rumpled hair, hoarse voice, and visible perspiration as he continues campaigning ahead of the midterms.

The Texas visit also had a political purpose. According to ABC News, it marked Trump’s fourth campaign-season trip to the state. He planned two rallies in support of Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton.

Before boarding the aircraft, Trump praised Paxton and described the planned events as major campaign stops. He also told reporters that crowds had been gathering for days and urged voters to support Paxton in the Senate race.

The trip followed a rally in Mississippi on Monday night. Trump returned to the White House shortly before midnight before resuming his campaign schedule on Tuesday. His latest appearances came as Republicans worked to retain their congressional majorities in the November midterm elections.
