An Instagram Reel shared by Pedestrian.TV celebrated Meghan and Poh’s reunion, calling it the perfect answer to reports of their clashing during filming. In the video, Poh comments on Markle’s expert handling of the negative comments. “Seriously, the woman has a will of steel, and I just have even more admiration for her,” she said. She added that while “rumors just follow because it’s the nature of the beast,” Markle’s resilience was admirable.

The caption read, “Poh Ling Yeow and Meghan Markle hosting Junior MasterChef together is the ultimate clap back to reports they clashed when filming MasterChef earlier this year.”

As reported by Now To Love, Poh spoke to KIIS FM’s Georgie Tunny after the Duchess’s guest appearance earlier this year. Here, the chef addressed the speculation surrounding their interaction.

“There is so much public conjecture, but she was absolutely delightful. [I have] nothing but praise for the time I spent with her,” Poh said, according to Now To Love. She also described Meghan as “very easy-going, good sense of humour, a consummate professional.” Poh added that the actress “just slid right into that judging role seamlessly.”

Poh also addressed the tension while filming. Speaking on the Nathan, Nat and Shaun radio show, she described Meghan as a “model citizen.” She also described Markle as “completely engaged with the whole process” and “knows her food.” She also rejected the negative reports, saying, “It’s ridiculous.

The two are set to work together again on Junior MasterChef Australia, which is returning in 2027. Markle will appear as a special guest alongside Poh, mentoring contestants through the reality TV journey. In a statement reported by People, Poh said, “I had a lovely time filming with Meghan earlier this year, and being reunited will be a real treat.”

According to recent reports, Melbourne residents expressed both their support and their dissatisfaction with Markle joining the cooking franchise. While some supported local culinary talent, others thought that Markle’s presence would give a boost to the show.
