Prince Harry has reportedly stepped back from “overshadowing” his father, King Charles’ ongoing Caribbean Tour. The report came after the monarch commenced his nine-day tour of the Caribbean on October 27. During the tour, the King will reportedly be visiting three countries, including the Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda.

Now, according to a new report, a source claimed that the Duke of Sussex has intentionally refrained from scheduling any public events during this time to avoid creating any “distraction” from his father’s tour.

Prince Harry deliberately keeps his schedule clear amid King Charles’ Caribbean tour, per source

Prince Harry has reportedly made a deliberate choice to keep his schedule completely clear of any public events amid his father, King Charles’ ongoing Caribbean tour. The nine-day tour allegedly runs from October 27 to November 4. Queen Camilla will reportedly join her husband, the monarch, during some parts of the tour of the Caribbean.

In the meantime, as reported by The Times, a source who is close to the Sussex couple told them that Prince Harry does not wish to upstage King Charles’ Caribbean tour. According to the source, the Duke of Sussex has not “set out” to “overshadow” the royal family. The source further explained that the Duke of Sussex will also be “mindful” so that he does not “distract” from the monarch’s ongoing tour, allegedly covering three countries, including the Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda.

Furthermore, Prince Harry has not taken up any public engagements during the period of next couple of weeks. The publication also reported what the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, will be doing during this time.

According to the news outlet, the Sussexes are all set to spend time with their two kids, seven-year-old Prince Archie, and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, during half term. However, per the publication, King Charles’ visit to the Caribbean remains a key factor in the Duke of Sussex’s decision not to schedule any public events.
