Jay-Z Could Turn His Super Bowl Show Into a Star-Studded Reunion

Fans tune in not only to watch the iconic Super Bowl matchup between the two finalist teams but also to enjoy the national anthem performance and the halftime show. Now, there’s exciting news for Jay-Z fans, as he is set to perform at the Super Bowl LXI halftime show. Reports suggest he could turn the performance into a star-studded reunion.

Beyoncé, Rihanna and Alicia Keys are among Jay-Z’s possible guests

The rapper, who has served in an advisory role with the NFL since 2019, announced on Monday, October 26, that he would headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Headliners typically bring special musical guests onstage for the performance, and according to a report, Jay-Z could reunite with some of the music industry’s biggest stars, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys.

As per The Mirror Us coverage, businessman’s representative said, “Make no mistake, Jay-Z is the headliner. This is HIS show. But he’s inviting some of the biggest names in music to share his stage. He’s calling in every favor!”

For context, the 56-year-old rapper released a statement that did not mention whether additional artists would join him or who they might be. However, Rob Shuter claimed in his Naughty But Nice post that Jay-Z could bring some of his famous friends to the February 14 show. Rumored guest performers include his wife, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, both of whom have previously headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Beyoncé is the crown jewel. Imagine Jay-Z performing his hits, then Beyoncé joining him, followed by Rihanna, Alicia and Usher. It’s practically a greatest-hits concert of an entire generation!” A close source said

Jay-Z will make his Super Bowl Halftime Show debut. However, if his wife, Beyoncé, joins him as a guest, it won’t be her first time performing at the event. The singer has appeared at the Super Bowl several times.

She sang the national anthem in 2004 and made a guest appearance during Super Bowl 50 in 2016. She also appeared at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show. More recently, she delivered another spectacular halftime performance in Houston during the NFL’s special Christmas Day games in 2024, an event fans dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl.”
