Meghan Markle’s Kids Are ‘Having a Whirlwind’ Amid School Drama — Report

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children are reportedly “having a whirlwind” amid recent school changes. The Sussexes returned to the UK with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in August 2026 after years living in California. The children started at a new school in September but were moved after security concerns arose over their school commute. Later, two men were reportedly spotted looking into the grounds of their new school, prompting the couple to condemn the incident. Now, royal commentators have discussed the children’s possible plans for their half-term break.

Commentators have reportedly discussed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans for their children’s half-term break amid the ongoing school drama. After moving to the Cotswolds, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet enrolled in a local school. However, Harry was reportedly advised by his security team to change the school because heavy traffic along their usual route created significant security risks.

The children were then moved to a different school closer to their current residence. However, another incident soon followed. Two men carrying backpacks were reportedly spotted around the school, peering into the grounds. The incident was condemned by Harry and Meghan.

Amid all the drama, Archie and Lilibet are now preparing for their half-term break, according to a report by Hello! magazine. Emily Nash revealed during the “A Right Royal” podcast that the couple would most likely remain in the UK. She added that if they decided to travel, they might head to Portugal to spend time at their holiday home.

While there have been rumors about the Sussexes returning to America, Nash dismissed the speculation. Discussing Archie and Lilibet’s experience at their school in the UK, Emmy Griffiths noted that the children are “having a whirlwind” after changing schools twice in quick succession.

Andrea Caamano added that both school changes happened within the same week, making the experience seem particularly challenging for the children. While the transition may have been difficult for the kids, Harry recently shared in an interview that Archie and Lilibet are enjoying school.
