Kate Middleton’s Under-the-Radar London Visit Comes With Personal Confession

Kate Middleton mused on the healing power of nature while on a private visit to a London mental health charity. She spoke candidly about her own experience with a former participant. Reportedly, the latter’s life was also transformed with the organization’s nature-based program.

Kate Middleton credits nature with helping her heal during charity visit

According to Hello!, the Princess of Wales visited Dose of Nature in London. The organization uses clinically supported nature-based programs to support mental health and well-being. During the engagement, the princess met Tom, a former participant and currently a Nature Guide working for the organization. She also took the opportunity to discuss how spending time outdoors helps with mental healing.

The conversation prompted the princess to reflect on her own experience. “Our journey has been very, very different, but it’s so wonderful to hear your nature connection and how it’s been so healing for you, and I felt the same,” she told Tom.

Middleton also praised Tom for working towards a mentally healthier future. She noted that by helping people connect to nature, he was also providing participants with a sense of purpose and belonging. She said, “The fact that you’re able to provide that to so many other people in this community; that sense of purpose, and meaning, and belonging, through that experience, I think is something that has got the longevity and the sustainability.”

The princess went on to explain how nature can help people navigate uncertainty. “Feeling like, almost without knowing what’s to come, without having the control in your life of knowing what the future might hold, the fact that you feel that you can cope with things, because you feel that interconnection, I think that makes it holistic in a very true essence,” she added.

Catherine has repeatedly spoken about the healing power of nature, particularly after her cancer diagnosis in 2024. In 2025, she called nature her “sanctuary” and reflected on how it helped her in her recovery and to build resilience.
