Jordan Firstman Reveals Why He Became His Sister’s Sperm Donor

Jordan Firstman has spoken about donating sperm to help his sister and her wife start a family. The actor revealed the personal news while discussing his upcoming film, Club Kid. The baby was born on his final day of filming, making the experience especially emotional.

The “Club Kid” star says the baby was born on his final day of filming and he has no parental role

In an interview with W Magazine, Firstman explained how the arrangement began. His sister asked him to donate sperm so her wife could have a child. The decision came after he had already written the first draft of Club Kid.

“It was coincidental,” the 35-year-old said about the unexpected connection. “I had written the first draft, and then my sister asked for my sperm [for her wife].” He described the request as a “total no-brainer.”

The timing made the experience particularly emotional for Firstman. “The baby was born on my last day of production,” he explained. “Very emotional, very hard to process,” he added, reflecting on the unusual overlap between his work and family life.

However, Firstman clarified that despite his biological connection to the child, he would not take on a parental role. “But — I’m an uncle, let’s be clear,” he said. “I’m not doing any fatherly duties.” He explained that he maintains a connection with the child through FaceTime calls and gifts.

“My sister and her wife are so happy,” Firstman added, emphasizing that the couple is raising the baby. His comments emphasized that he sees himself as the child’s uncle rather than her parent. The arrangement allowed Firstman to help his sister and her wife become parents.

The revelation arrives as Firstman promotes Club Kid, which we wrote, directed, and even star in. The film follows a club promoter who discovers he has a 10-year-old son. Club Kid is scheduled to open in select theaters on November 6, marking another milestone in Firstman’s career.
