Camille Grammer has publicly called out her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, after claiming he failed to contact their daughter on her birthday. Camille said Mason waited for a message from her father as she celebrated turning 25. She even reportedly checked her spam folder in case she had missed it.
Camille called out Kelsey on Instagram after her daughter’s birthday passed without a message from her father
Camille took to Instagram to express her disappointment after Kelsey allegedly failed to call or text Mason on her birthday.
“A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday. Three days later, and still not a call or a text,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote.
She then questioned how Kelsey’s public success compared with his responsibilities as a parent.
“You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off. Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean very little if you neglect the people who should matter most,” Camille wrote.
She said the situation was painful to witness as a mother.
“Some wounds come not from what is said, but from the silence. A mother never stops hurting when her child is hurt. 25 is a milestone birthday. Sometimes the silence is deafening, and the disappointment speaks volumes.”
Camille also described how Mason allegedly kept checking her phone throughout the weekend, hoping her father had tried to reach her.
“Mason told me she kept checking her phone all weekend, hoping her father had called, even from an unfamiliar number or that his message had somehow ended up in her spam folder. She even checked there, searching for any sign that he had reached out,” she wrote.
Kelsey is also father to six other children from previous relationships, including four with his current wife, Kayte Walsh. He recently said he had become “a far more available dad” in his seventies after being less present during some of his children’s earlier years.
Camille’s post made clear that she believed Mason deserved acknowledgment from her father on such an important milestone.
