Taylor Frankie Paul has not given up on handing out roses. Months after ABC canceled her season of The Bachelorette, the reality star says she would happily return to the franchise. Taylor still wants viewers to see the season she already filmed. However, if that never happens, she believes a second chance on The Bachelorette could show viewers a different side of her.
Taylor Frankie Paul hopes to return to the ABC franchise
Taylor said she “100%” wants ABC to release her completed season, according to TMZ. She highlighted the hard work the contestants and production crew put into filming the season.
If ABC keeps the season on the shelf, Taylor would still consider becoming the Bachelorette again. She admitted that she was not in the best emotional state during her first attempt but said therapy has since helped her make significant progress.
However, her first season never aired. ABC pulled Taylor’s Bachelorette season just days before its premiere after video resurfaced from a 2023 physical altercation involving ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
Taylor has continued advocating for the canceled season to be released. In August, she even signed a fan petition asking ABC to release the canceled season.
The unaired season reportedly featured several major developments in Taylor’s love life. Taylor later revealed that her season ended with her accepting a proposal. That engagement did not last, and she eventually reconnected with Dakota after filming.
Now, Taylor says she is “single and mingling.” She also believes the personal progress she has made could help her approach a second opportunity with the ABC franchise differently.
Her future on another reality television series also remains uncertain. Taylor announced in September that she was leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives amid tension with her castmates.
However, during her conversation with TMZ, Taylor admitted that her decision to leave the show had been impulsive. She said she felt unwanted at the time and did not completely close the door on returning.
ABC has yet to announce whether it will release Taylor’s canceled season or offer her another opportunity to lead the show. However, Taylor remains hopeful that her journey with The Bachelorette is not over.
