Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil is far from done. A new Daredevil: Born Again report hints at what the actor will be playing after the acclaimed show ends.
In a Cosmic Circus Discord Q&A session, Insider Alex Perez was asked whether Daredevil could appear in a film once the Disney+ series wraps. Perez responded, “The show may be ending, but Charlie Cox is far from done being Daredevil.”
Several rumors and reports claimed that the Hell’s Kitchen superhero will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars after the show ends. Matt Murdock is reported to cross paths once again with Spider-Man in the 2027 MCU film. Cox has often expressed interest in teaming up with Spider-Man. At Fan Expo Chicago, he said, “Spider-Man and Daredevil together is so iconic. I hope we get to work together again.” However, Marvel hasn’t confirmed a crossover between the two vigilantes. The studio has also yet to announce whether either character will appear in Secret Wars.
Marvel’s plans for the Defenders could extend beyond Born Again
In the same Q&A, another fan asked the insider about the future of Defenders and the Daughters of the Dragon after Daredevil: Born Again ends. The fan also expressed interest in a potential Defenders movie or series, plus a Heroes for Hire show.
Perez offered a brief but promising response, stating, “There is some stuff in the works for them once Born Again ends.” However, he didn’t specify which projects are in development or identify the characters who might return. Marvel hasn’t confirmed any new projects either.
Marvel’s exclusive trailer for the series at New York Comic-Con showed the defenders teaming up with Matt Murdock outside the prison. It also featured Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye. The trailer hasn’t been released online yet.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2027 and will conclude the series.
