The photo Kate Middleton shared on Instagram captured her, Prince William, and their kids outdoors along with local mountain rescue team members and a dog. The picture was taken earlier this year after Middleton completed the National Three Peaks Challenge earlier this year. She participated in the challenge in late June to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Fans flooded the comment section with love for the British royals. One user wrote, “A beautiful picture,” while another said, “So cute. What a beautiful picture.” A third remarked, “Such a lovely picture! We are so happy to see y’all again!” Another user commented, “Such a lovely picture!”

In the caption of the post, Princess Kate wrote, “On Mountain Rescue Awareness Day, we send our heartfelt thanks to all those who volunteer their time and expertise to keep people safe in some of our most beautiful but challenging landscapes. Through our connection with this remarkable organisation, we have seen first-hand the dedication, professionalism and compassion that define their work.”

She added that the Three Peaks Challenge this summer gave her a chance to personally thank local mountain rescue teams for their year-round efforts to protect hikers and climbers in the mountains.

The mother of three wrote that they are “incredibly proud to support the extraordinary volunteers” for their prompt response to those in need of help. She also thanked the mountain rescue community for their “unwavering commitment, courage and service.”
