Meghan Markle’s approach to engaging with the public during her recent Nottingham outing has reportedly drawn comparisons with Kate Middleton’s signature style. Prince Harry and Meghan made their first joint public appearance on October 15 since returning to the UK.

The visit reportedly focused on meeting local charities and community organizations that the Duke of Sussex has supported for years.

Darren Stanton, a body language expert, shared his observations about Meghan’s interactions with the crowd during the outing. Speaking to InStyle, he described the Duchess as highly skilled at connecting with people.

According to Stanton, she is confident and engaging, and she knows how to build rapport with those she meets. He also noted that Meghan bent forward to meet people’s eye level during her recent outing, a gesture commonly associated with Kate’s approach to interacting with the public.

Stanton explained that this body language makes conversations feel more personal and helps people feel at ease. He said, “It creates a greater sense of connection because she’s meeting people on their level rather than looking down at them.”

The expert further suggested that this approach appears to be relatively new to Meghan, as he had not observed her using it previously. However, he noted that she seems to carry it out naturally.

According to Stanton, the gesture helps Meghan establish a connection with members of the public while making them feel comfortable in her presence.
