The source noted that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had garnered significant attention during their recent joint charity outing. They added that the couple was happy with the warm reception they received from the public and that things could not have “gone any better.”
They added, “It’s true they both went into this engagement pretty nervous, especially after Harry got booed at that rugby game, and knowing that the usual army of haters would be out in force, hoping they’d fall flat on their faces.” The insider claimed that the positivity and support from the crowd had eased their doubts and boosted their confidence.
“It’s strengthened Harry’s belief that this is where they belong, that they can really build on the momentum and ultimately work their way back into the Royal Family on a full-time basis,” they continued (via The News International).
King Charles and Queen Camilla, meanwhile, recently continued their royal duties. They visited Cardiff, Wales, and were welcomed by two Welsh military regiments. There, the monarch also delivered a speech about his strong connection to Wales.
“The character and identity of Wales have always been built from the strength of its places and the relationships of trust, service and neighbourliness found within them – that distinctively Welsh idea of cynefin: the profound connection between place, people, culture and belonging,” he said. Harry and Markle stopped by these charities: Community Recording Studio, Himmah Food Bank, and Epic Partners.
