Donald Trump’s Hand Makeup Looks Especially Thick in New Close-Up Photo

President Donald Trump‘s hand bruise reappeared, heavily covered in makeup, after he took part in an Arizona rally. People first noticed the President’s hand covered in heavy makeup in 2025. This continued throughout 2025 and 2026, when fans noticed his hand in a similar state at multiple events.

Donald Trump’s hand bruise appears in new Arizona rally photo

Donald Trump recently spoke with reporters before boarding Air Force One at Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport, and his makeup-covered hand bruise caught people’s attention online.

Trump held a rally in Arizona to support Republican Andy Biggs, who is running against Democrat Katie Hobbs for governor. Hobbs is running for re-election as governor.

During his appearance in Bullhead City, Trump’s right hand appeared cakey and covered in thick foundation to conceal deep blue and purple bruises. According to a report by The Daily Beast, the foundation in the Reuters photo of his right hand was so thick it left a wrinkled texture. However, the makeup’s thickness created a border near his knuckles that made it easier to tell the President tried to cover up his bruises.

Despite all the efforts to hide the bruises, small spots still showed through.

Previously, his administration has said the bruising on the President’s right hand resulted from the constant hand shaking he does on numerous occasions. But people on social media have also noticed similar bruises on his left hand, thus further raising questions about their nature.

Trump has been traveling the country to campaign for Republican candidates ahead of the upcoming midterm election in November. During his rally in Arizona, Trump unleashed a verbal attack on Democrats and said, “On election night, Arizona is going to prove that America does not belong to those who hate it. America belongs to those who love, love, love, love — love it.” (via Fox News)
