Diddy reportedly suffered a head injury during a fight with Jamaican drug trafficker Christopher “Dudus” Coke. According to TMZ, sources inside FCI Fort Dix said Diddy and Coke got into a fight last Friday.
The rapper reportedly suffered a head injury, prompting facility officials to take him outside the prison for treatment. He was reportedly transported to a hospital by ambulance. Sources said the injury was not life-threatening and that Diddy remained conscious when he returned to prison.
The alleged fight reportedly followed other inmates’ frustration over reports about Diddy’s luxury treatment in an NBC News report. The news outlet had released footage that reportedly showed Diddy using a cellphone while in prison, prompting questions about the privileges he may have received.
According to the sources, Diddy was already in solitary confinement and had been leaving his cell for daily breaks when the alleged fight occurred. Sources also claimed that officials had acquired cellphones from inmates, including Coke, during at least two raids.
Coke, whose real name is Christopher Coke, has been serving a 23-year prison sentence since 2012. Sources claimed he was unhappy after reports allegedly exposed secret benefits or privileges at the facility.
Sources said Diddy and Coke were placed in the Special Housing Unit. It is a form of restrictive housing for two weeks as punishment following the alleged altercation. However, there has been no official statement from FCI Fort Dix confirming the reported fight, injury or disciplinary action.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is serving a 50-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix. He was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
