Aubrey O’Day has opened up about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ time in prison. The former Danity Kane singer said that “the system is broken” as Diddy serves a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

The remarks come after an NBC News investigation released footage of Diddy in prison, seemingly using a cellphone. Reporter Chloe Melas shared the report on X, writing, “My breaking exclusive on Sean Diddy Combs — we’ve obtained video of him using a cell phone in prison — and much more.”
The 42-year-old singer shared Melas’ post while slamming Diddy in her response. She wrote, “Thank you, Chloe, for doing this investigation. People should understand the difference between rehabilitation and a sh*tty vacation. The system is broken — this man will come back a worse criminal.”
Diddy has spent less than a year behind bars. The footage obtained by the outlet offers a first look at the rapper in prison. The footage shows the 56-year-old wearing a white baseball cap and using a cellphone. Prison officials prohibit inmates from possessing cellphones.
The report also claims that inmates cooked and cleaned for Combs. They have allegedly handled his laundry and given him Chinese-style massages. The investigation also included photos of the food reportedly served to him.
Sources further claimed that Diddy also had access to alcohol and other prohibited items. One of them, who has spent time in the same unit as the rapper, said, “This is not some normal s— you see in jail. This is some rich s—,” said one of the men. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after facing two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. However, jurors acquitted him of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His projected release date was initially set for May 8, 2026, but it has since been changed to January 21, 2028.
