A recent poll indicates that royal fans are not hoping for an end to the feud between Prince Harry and Prince William. The news emerges amid claims that the Prince of Wales is unwavering in his stance toward his younger brother. The royal siblings remain estranged after Harry and Meghan Markle made explosive claims about the royal family following the infamous “Megxit.”
Royal fans deliver their harsh take on Prince Harry and Prince William’s feud
Royal fans have shared their blunt views on the feud between Prince Harry and Prince William, which has severely strained their relationship over the past decade.
A new Daily Express poll has now revealed where the British public stands on whether the brothers should reconcile. The survey was open to readers from 7 a.m. on October 8 to 5 p.m. on October 12 and asked, “Do you want Prince William and Harry to make up?” The results indicated a strong consensus: 87% of respondents said they do not want the princes to reconcile, while just 10% were in favor and 3% remained undecided.
Readers also did not hold back in the comments section, with one writing, “I couldn’t care less about William and Harry ‘making up.’ However, it would be very unwise of William to make any concessions to a sibling who has proved difficult and unreliable.” Another echoed, “I voted no. It’s really not up to anyone other than William but henry is not trustworthy.” A voter weighed in with, “Irreparable damage that Harry can never put right.” Meanwhile, a neutral comment read, “Mind your business. That’s a family affair…”
Princes William and Harry have not been in the same room since they both attended a funeral for their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, in 2024. While King Charles is apparently keen to see his sons reunite, there has been little indication from the heir to the throne that a reconciliation is on the cards.
However, Richard Eden of the Daily Mail has reported that a Thanksgiving service next year to mark the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death could include tributes from both of her sons.
