Ella Langley canceled her Tulsa, Oklahoma, concert on Friday, October 9, following a security warning. The 27-year-old country singer said she made the decision after consulting local authorities, venue staff, and her security team to protect everyone attending the event.
Ella Langley’s Oklahoma concert was canceled hours before showtime following a security warning
Langley announced the cancellation in an Instagram post. She explained that a serious security threat had raised concerns about the safety of her fans, venue personnel, and team.

As per People, she wrote in the caption, “Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show.” The caption also read, “This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team.”
The singer, known for “Choosin’ Texas,” also apologized to fans who had invested time and money in attending the concert. She acknowledged the travel and planning involved, adding that she had been looking forward to performing but would not risk anyone’s safety.
Her team released a separate statement confirming that the show could not go ahead after careful consideration. It also apologized to concertgoers and said details about ticket refunds would be shared as soon as possible.
However, News on 6, citing Tulsa Police, reported that the cancellation followed a “false bomb threat.”
The Tulsa Police Department said officers searched the venue but found “no credible threat.” Police explained that their security checks included K-9 units, the Bomb Team, patrol officers, and BOK Center security personnel. The department also said it informed Langley’s staff that investigators found no credible threat to the event. Nevertheless, the singer’s team proceeded with the cancellation.
The incident remains under investigation. Tulsa Police have asked anyone with relevant information to contact Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
