A source has revealed that King Charles is the driving force behind a formel royal’s crucial decision. Sarah Ferguson has reportedly scrapped plans for a tell-all memoir because of the reigning monarch. The news comes amid controversy and debate surrounding Charles Spencer’s recently released book on Princess Diana, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.”
Ex-Royal is not ready to release a memoir because of King Charles due to this reason
Sarah Ferguson has publicly ruled out writing a tell-all about her time in the royal family, but insiders suggest a different motive.
The former Duchess of York has dismissed claims that she was in line for a lucrative multi-million-dollar book deal delving into her marriage to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, controversial topics like her links to Jeffrey Epstein, and her experiences with other senior royals.
However, according to RadarOnline.com, sources close to Ferguson say she is holding back to protect her standing with King Charles. A royal insider told the outlet, “Sarah understands that publishing a book containing private material about the Royal Family could permanently destroy whatever goodwill remains with Charles. From her perspective, keeping that relationship intact is potentially far more valuable than receiving one enormous check from a publisher. Her denial was a way of avoiding an adverse reaction from King Charles.”
They added that the 66-year-old author still hopes for a financial agreement that would keep both her and ex-Prince Andrew secure for life. In her view, avoiding any public discussion of private royal matters will give the King peace of mind and put her in a stronger position if such discussions ever occur.
Concluding, the palace source noted, “Whether Charles would ever agree to bankroll them is an entirely different question. There is no guarantee whatsoever that he will. But Sarah doesn’t want to jeopardize the possibility by producing a book that could cause another royal crisis.”
Sarah Ferguson’s spokesperson also pushed back on the reports, stating, “Sarah Ferguson is not close to signing a multi-million dollar book deal as has been reported. She has no plans to write any tell-all memoir.”
