RHONY’s Sai de Silva Reveals Her Shocking Divorce Discovery

Fans know Sai de Silva well from The Real Housewives of New York City and her lifestyle and fashion blog, Scout The City. However, if there is another story about her that has been trending, it is her divorce from David Craig. Amid this, the TV star has revealed a shocking detail.

Sai de Silva learned David Craig filed for divorce through texts

Recently, the TV star appeared on Bravo’s After RHONY podcast, where she discussed several topics, including her ex-husband. During the conversation, Sai de Silva revealed that she learned David Craig had filed for divorce through text messages.

Silva said, “I asked for a separation. I asked him to go to mediation so we could do it privately, because I didn’t want the world to know. More importantly, I didn’t want the children to know quite yet. But I had no idea that this was coming.”

After admitting that David’s divorce filing “felt calculated,” she added, “He wanted to have the kids during spring break. My aunt just left the day before, and my support system is my aunt. He did ask me several times when she’s leaving, and I’m like, ‘What difference does it make?’”

“The same day she left was the same day he filed, so I would be alone when I found out. And that was like… just hit me in my gut. I needed to speak to my daughter immediately, cause I didn’t know if he told her. I know that I didn’t, and I let her know,” she added.

During the conversation, Silva also revealed that after the divorce filing, she did not text or call David Craig. The content creator also revealed on the podcast that her castmates were very supportive of her during this difficult time.

The Real Housewives of New York City star and her husband, Craig, are separating and divorcing after nearly nine years of marriage. The ex-couple first met in 2009 and later married in 2017 after being in a long-distance relationship. They share two children, daughter London, born in 2011, and son Rio, born in 2017. Craig filed for divorce in March 2026. However, Silva and David Craig remain legally married because they have not finalized their ongoing divorce process.
