On September 29, 2026, the TV personality appeared on The Friend Keep Secret Podcast, where the entrepreneur spoke about her personal and professional life. During the conversation, Bethenny Frankel opened up about her strained relationship with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.
Frankel said, “We do coexist on this earth. We do both exist on this earth, so that’s positive. It’s been a strained year, it’s been a challenging year.”
“There were a lot of circumstances that have been, that are … torture, like, traumatic. Like, 10 years [in court for] a two-year marriage and, like, every single branch on the tree,” she added.
Apart from her relationship drama with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, Bethenny Frankel also discussed several other topics during the episode, including why she moved to Florida, her life story, marriages, how she found Selena, and more.
Talking about the relationship between the 55-year-old and Jason Hoppy, it began with a meeting at a nightclub in November 2008. About a year later, in March 2010, the former couple got married in a lavish ceremony, with Bethenny seven months pregnant at the time. Their daughter, Bryn Hoppy, was born later that year.
Bravo’s show Bethenny Getting Married? Also documented the TV personality’s marriage to Jason Hoppy. However, nearly two years into their marriage, Bethenny Frankel and Hoppy decided to separate in December 2012, and she filed for divorce in January 2013.
Their divorce and child custody battle lasted nearly eight years before the divorce was officially finalized in March 2021. During the divorce proceedings, Bethenny accused Jason of serious emotional abuse and stalking, which led to his arrest in 2017.
