Scheana Shay is speaking out about her friendship with The Valley star Janet Caperna. The Vanderpump Rules alum admitted that fans noticed something she had not even realized after Janet recently unfollowed her on Instagram.

During the September 25 episode of Scheananigans, Shay addressed a question about her relationship with Janet. The 41-year-old said, “I don’t notice when people unfollow me. I have a lot of followers, and that’s not something I notice. And honestly, I don’t really want to get into the specifics of that today.”
She continued, “There are a number of people who I have set boundaries with in the past year of my life, and not everyone responds well to those boundaries. I’ve learned a lot more about this. So, I’m just going to leave that there for now.”
Shay and Caperna’s longtime friendship appears to be facing some tension. Janet first met Shay at the Mondrian in 2017, shortly after moving to Los Angeles following her divorce from her first husband. Shay quickly became one of Caperna’s first friends in LA.
However, Shay felt betrayed after Caperna shared private details about her marriage. According to Shay, Caperna told Brittany Cartwright that Brock Davies had cheated on her with a mutual friend while she was pregnant in 2020. Shay and Davies married privately on August 23, 2022, and kept the news from most of their friends and family for nearly a year. Davies later acknowledged that he had been unfaithful amid rumors of an alleged relationship with Rachel Leviss in 2023. But Caperna was not alone in sharing the private details. Another former friend, Lala Kent, also discussed the information with Jenna Willis, who was on bad terms with Shay at the time.
