Prince Harry’s Next Public Outing in the UK Revealed

Fresh news has emerged about Prince Harry’s next scheduled public outing in the UK. The Duke of Sussex has confirmed his initial engagements since returning to Britain with his family last month. Harry’s appearance at the Invictus Spirit Awards in London on September 17 marked his first public engagement since relocating to the UK with Meghan Markle and their two children.

Prince Harry will soon host an event in the UK

It has now been confirmed that Prince Harry will host an event in London next week.

As reported by the Daily Express, the non-working royal will lead the “United For Freedom” gala for Ukraine at the Imperial War Museum on Wednesday, October 1. The announcement follows the 42-year-old Duke’s appearance in Greenwich on Thursday for an Invictus Games event. At the Old Royal Naval College, he wore a sharp black suit and bow tie for his first public outing since moving back to the UK.

King Charles‘ youngest son also attended the WellChild Awards on Monday night, an event he has long supported in person. Harry, a WellChild patron since 2007, met the winners and their families before presenting the Inspirational Child award and giving a speech. His PR team is officially listing the appearances as his “September public engagements.”

The upcoming outing comes just over a month after the Sussexes returned to the UK on August 26, following six years in California. The family is setting up a private UK base while retaining their Montecito home, with seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet starting the new school year in Britain.

As for Prince Harry’s connection with Ukraine, it is longstanding. He visited the country in April, just days after traveling to Australia with Meghan Markle, and arrived in Kyiv by train. He told The Sun then, “It’s good to be back in Ukraine–a country bravely and successfully defending Europe’s eastern flank. It matters that we don’t lose sight of the significance of that.” It marked his third visit since the war broke out in early 2022.
