The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas is releasing today, September 18, ahead of the Jim Carrey movie sequel. The highly anticipated game has finally been launched by Outright Games and Dr. Seuss Enterprises after a long tease.
Saving Christmas is a direct video game sequel to The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, released in 2023 by Outright Games and Casual Brothers. Unlike the first game’s 2D side-scrolling style, the new installment is a 3D platform adventure. This one sends the iconic Dr. Seuss character on a new holiday adventure.
The update comes ahead of the release of the sequel to Carrey’s 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The long-awaited project is in early development at Universal and Imagine Entertainment. Carrey is in talks to return as the Grinch, with Ron Howard expected to direct. However, no official release date has been announced yet.
