Millie Bobby Brown and husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed their second child through adoption. The couple, who became parents for the first time last year, have continued to keep their family life mostly private while balancing their careers in Hollywood.
According to People, a source confirmed to the outlet that Brown and Bongiovi recently welcomed their second child. The couple has not publicly shared the baby’s gender or name. The news came shortly after Brown posted photos and videos from a family trip to Italy’s Dolomites.
In the images, Brown was seen carrying their daughter, while Bongiovi appeared to be using an infant carrier.
The couple announced the adoption of their first child, a daughter, in August 2025. At the time, they said they were excited to begin parenthood while asking for “peace and privacy” as they started their new chapter.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have grown their family since getting married in 2024
Brown and Bongiovi announced their engagement in April 2023, after reportedly dating since 2021. They married in May 2024 in a private ceremony in the United States before holding a larger celebration in Florence, Italy, with family and friends.
The actress has previously spoken about her desire to adopt. During an appearance on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, Brown said adoption had been part of her dreams since she was a child.
“It was always part of my childhood dreams,” Brown explained. She recalled playing with baby dolls that had been adopted and said she had always imagined adoption as part of her future family.
Brown has also said that having biological children remains something she may want someday, but adoption was always an important goal for her.
The latest addition to their family means Brown and Bongiovi now have two children as they continue to build their family away from the spotlight. Brown remains known for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, while Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, has pursued acting and other creative projects.
