Bongiovi discussed fatherhood in a profile published by L’Beaute Homme on October 13. “Becoming a father has completely broadened my understanding of the word love,” he said. He explained that parenthood gave him a new perspective on unconditional love.
Bongiovi shares two adopted children with Millie Bobby Brown, whom he married in 2024. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2025 and confirmed that they had adopted a baby boy last month. They have not publicly revealed their children’s names.
“There is genuinely no better feeling in the world than hearing your child shout ‘Dada!’ when you walk into a room,” Bongiovi shared. He added that fatherhood had given him “a completely different perspective on life.” Everyday moments have taken on greater meaning for him.
The son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley called parenthood an “extraordinary privilege.” He said watching his children grow had taught him to slow down. “My children have taught me to slow down,” he explained.
“One day they’ve learned how to smile, the next they’re laughing, and before you know it, they’re taking their first steps,” Bongiovi shared. He said he wanted to cherish their milestones instead of constantly anticipating what would come next. For him, everyday discoveries have become some of life’s most meaningful experiences.
Bongiovi also reflected on the couple’s adoption journey. “There are two ways to have a baby, one through your belly and one through your heart,” he said. He emphasized that a child’s arrival does not define the love they receive.
He also praised Brown’s journey as a mother. “Watching Millie become a mother has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life,” Bongiovi said. He described building a family with his best friend as especially meaningful.
Bongiovi added that he and Brown continue to grow together through life’s changes. Their parenting journey has deepened his gratitude and appreciation for family.
