Prince Harry Hit With Brutal Royal Fan Verdict Over King Charles’ Letter — Poll

A new poll shows that Prince Harry is facing a harsh verdict from royal fans over King Charles‘ recent letter. The news comes after the monarch’s declaration clarified the royal status of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Issued on behalf of the King by the Lord Chamberlain, it was sent to government, military and palace officials.

Here’s what royal fans think about King Charles’ letter about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

A new poll showing Britons siding with King Charles over his bombshell letter comes as a bitter blow for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The letter confirmed that the Sussex pair will not be working royals despite relocating to the UK. It stated that the couple is barred from using their HRH titles and will be considered “private citizens.” His Majesty took the step to prevent confusion surrounding their return.

In response, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle admitted that they were “a little surprised not to have been told in advance.” The British public, however, appears to disagree.

A Daily Express poll launched at 10.30 a.m. on September 8 asked readers whether King Charles was right to issue the statement on Monday. By the time it closed at 8.30am on September 10, it had attracted over 12,800 votes.

An overwhelming 12,514 respondents voted that His Majesty was right to release it. Only 312 voters disagreed, saying that the King was not right to take that step. A further 42 admitted that they were unsure.

As for the reactions, one respondent wrote, “Yes. I think it was the right thing to do. They wanted to leave and now they come back begging bowls in hand. We don’t want them.” Another response read, “Yes — it reinforces the facts and makes it clear that *nothing* H or his current wife do is in any way, shape, or form royal.”

Another royal watcher commented, “The letter only reiterated what Spare and Me Again had decided when they left the UK. Well done King Charles. Meanwhile, a neutral commenter said, “Option 4: Not bothered.”
