Martha Stewart calls out Daisy Toye’s store-bought pie, dirty pots and mismatched teapot during the RHONY Season 16 premiere
During the episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, which premiered on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the writer visited her makeup artist and show contestant Nicole Daisy Toye at her home. During the visit, Martha Stewart called out the makeup artist’s store-bought pie, dirty pots, and mismatched teapot.
Before leaving, the 85-year-old looked for something to eat and asked her makeup artist, “What do you have in this kitchen … store-bought pie?” Toye then blamed her husband, Eugene, after which Stewart said she would teach her how to make one.
According to People, Stewart said, “I’ll teach you how to make pie, so you don’t ever have to buy a pie.” Later, when she notices Daisy’s cookware, that’s hanging over the stove, she added, “You should really turn your pots around.”
In her defense, Nicole Daisy Toye said that “the outsides are ugly,” prompting the businesswoman to suggest that she clean them.
“Well, you have to clean those. And that — I hate that. It doesn’t go in here. You have so much to do in here.” Martha concluded
For context, Toye has worked as Martha Stewart’s makeup artist for nearly 17 years. During the episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, the television personality jokingly said that Daisy is a makeup artist for the stars, or at least one star, referring to herself before adding, “if you can call me that.”
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 premiered on Bravo on September 8, 2026, with its first episode airing at 8 p.m. ET. Along with Nicole Daisy Toye, Erika Hammond and Hailey Glassman joined the cast as new Housewives.
