Megyn Kelly Makes Blunt Admission About Trump’s Economy

Megyn Kelly has made a blunt comment about Donald Trump’s handling of the economy. The former Fox News host pointed to growing frustration among some Republican voters. She said their views may be changing as money and foreign policy issues weigh on them. Her comments come as voters continue to focus on the economy.

Megyn Kelly says some Republican voters now think Democrats may be better on the economy

Kelly discussed Trump supporters’ concerns in a recent commentary. She said some voters feel Trump has not improved their lives after giving him time. “They feel they gave Trump a year and a half,” Kelly said. “He’s done nothing other than make things worse.” She added, “This is how they feel. You read the polls.”

Kelly said those voters are “p—–” and “not feeling pro-GOP right now.” She pointed to several issues behind their frustration with the Republican Party. Those issues range from tariffs and rising gas prices to military conflicts and pressure on household finances. Kelly said these problems have started to change how some voters view the economy.

The former Fox News host also pointed to a Fox News poll while discussing the issue. “52 percent say they prefer Democrats compared to 48 percent who say they like the Republicans when it comes to who should manage the economy,” she said. Kelly used the numbers to explain the shift she sees among some Republican voters. She said the trend shows growing concern about the economy.

“They don’t tend to like the tariffs,” Kelly said. She added, “They don’t like the war” and “They don’t like what’s happening in their bank accounts.” Kelly then made her bluntest point about the changing views. “They’re starting to think Democrats may be the better option on the economy,” she said.

Kelly’s comments show that frustration over the economy may be starting to chip away at some voters’ confidence in Trump and the Republican Party.
