Tyreek Hill pushed back hard against witness tampering allegations from his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro. The NFL star accused Vaccaro of falsely turning a private conversation into a criminal accusation.
The dispute added another twist to the couple’s already bitter divorce battle. Hill asked the court to sanction Vaccaro and her attorney over claims that he intimidated a potential witness.

According to TMZ, Hill denied using threats, pressure or money to influence his ex, Crystal Espinal. Court documents obtained by the outlet showed Hill argued that Vaccaro had provided no evidence supporting her accusations. Vaccaro had raised concerns after Hill recently met with Espinal, the mother of three of his children. She claimed Hill had not seen Espinal for more than five years before their meeting.
Vaccaro also questioned Espinal’s testimony during the divorce proceedings. Espinal reportedly spoke favorably about Hill despite previously accusing him of assaulting her while pregnant. Hill denied those allegations. Hill argued that Vaccaro failed to establish any form of witness intimidation. His filing said there was “no threat, no misleading statement, and no offer of any benefit – because there was none.”
The NFL star claimed Vaccaro had attempted to “criminalize” a phone call he made to Espinal. He maintained that nothing about their interaction amounted to witness tampering. Hill also asked the judge to punish Vaccaro and her lawyer with sanctions. He argued that the allegations were baseless and deserved consequences.
The latest clash came after months of legal fighting between Hill and Vaccaro. Their relationship had deteriorated publicly as their divorce case moved forward. The witness dispute added another layer of tension before the former couple faced further proceedings. Hill’s response suggested he intended to challenge every allegation rather than allow the accusations to stand unanswered.
For Vaccaro, the concerns centered on whether Hill’s contact with Espinal could influence testimony. For Hill, the issue appeared much simpler: he insisted there had been no intimidation. The court will ultimately decide whether Vaccaro’s allegations had merit. Until then, the divorce battle continued to generate plenty of courtroom fireworks.
