Peacock’s new series, Get Me Out of Here, will premiere in 2027, in a press release. The show will feature celebrities paired with their celebrity friends or relatives. Each duo will then enter a harsh jungle environment far from their usual comforts. They will face physical and psychological challenges for a chance to win $100,000.
The contestants will have to give up their usual luxuries during the competition. They must rely on their partners while trying to survive the demanding challenges. The pairs will also battle to avoid elimination throughout the show. Maura and Rob will guide viewers through all the jungle drama as co-hosts.
The series updates the international format I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! ITV America will produce the Peacock show. The production company also backs Love Island USA. The new series will bring a fresh competition format to the streaming platform.
Maura and Rob already share a complicated history from season 4 of The Traitors. The two became close companions during the competition and developed a close friendship. However, their relationship took a shocking turn when Rob revealed that he had secretly played as a Traitor. He ultimately beat Maura and won the grand prize.
Rob later tried to make things right with his former competitor. Earlier, it was reported that he had used some of his winnings to purchase her a Hermès Birkin bag. Now, their Traitors drama has led them back to the same project.
