RHOC star Shannon Beador may laugh with Tamra Judge again, but that does not mean everything is fixed. In fact, Shannon and Heather Dubrow admit that moving forward with their longtime co-star can still come with frustrating setbacks.
Shannon and Heather say attempts to move forward with Tamra Judge keep hitting setbacks
Shannon Beador discussed her complicated relationship with Tamra Judge during a new interview. Speaking alongside Heather Dubrow, Shannon called the situation with Tamra “exhausting.” However, she admitted that the two women can still laugh and enjoy each other’s company.
“I’m good. You’ve seen me laugh with her,” Shannon said. Still, she does not want those lighter moments to erase their complicated history. Instead, Shannon tries to stay cautious whenever the friendship starts feeling familiar again.
“It’s easy to get sucked back in with her,” Shannon explained. She said she can reconnect with Tamra in the moment before questioning that decision days later. That pattern has become familiar to longtime RHOC viewers. Shannon and Tamra have shared years of friendship, arguments, reconciliations and another round of conflict.
Heather also weighed in on the ongoing Real Housewives of Orange County drama. She said she and Tamra currently get along well, but the wider dynamic remains unpredictable. In fact, Heather summed it up as “two steps forward, twelve steps back.” Her comment echoed Shannon’s frustration about how quickly progress can disappear.
Meanwhile, Shannon and Tamra have spent much of Season 20 trying to repair their relationship. In July, Shannon shared a cautiously optimistic friendship update. Yet, another disagreement often follows their better moments. Their rocky history also fueled a heated RHUGT argument that showed how quickly old tension can return.
Tamra has recognized the same cycle herself. She previously said the pair repeatedly “move forward” and “move back”. Even so, Shannon does not appear completely closed off to Tamra. She seems willing to keep things cordial while protecting herself from another painful fallout.
For now, that may be the most realistic version of peace between them. Heather’s comments also suggest that nobody expects the situation to remain simple for long.
