Speaking on the September 3 episode of her Open Book podcast, Bunnie Xo admitted she’s enjoying the attention, even if she’s taking things slowly.
“I’m having a blast,” she said, explaining that both men and women have been reaching out to her. “There’s tons of women in my DMs that want to date me.” She also revealed that she’s open to unexpected possibilities, adding that her “soulmate could be a woman.”
Despite the interest she’s receiving, Bunnie Xo admitted she’s still nervous about dating again. While she would rather meet someone in person, she confessed that she has “followed up” with at least one person who messaged her online. However, she insisted she’s not rushing into anything.
“I’m really scared,” she explained, noting that dating now feels very different from when she last entered the dating world in 2016. She added that she has changed significantly over the years and is approaching this new phase with caution.
Days before making the podcast comments, Bunnie Xo hinted that someone special had already caught her attention. She also noted that she remains on good terms with her ex-husband and still talks to his mother. Their ongoing relationship proves the end of the marriage didn’t sever those family ties.
The comments come just months after the divorce, which ended the couple’s 10-year marriage. According to OK! Magazine, the country singer quietly filed for divorce in May, marking the end of their longtime relationship.
