Jack Reacher may have finally met a situation he cannot punch his way out of. Season 4, Episode 6 ends with guns aimed at him and Tamara after mercenaries drag them into the woods. Their fate remains unknown, but viewers already have a theory involving who’ll save Reacher this time.
Reacher fans think Neagley will save him and Tamara in Episode 7
Fans are dead-set that Neagley, one of Reacher’s most trusted friends, will come to his aid in episode 7. The timing has viewers connecting the dots. Neagley has remained absent during the season, while the upcoming Neagley spinoff will arrive in September. Several fans now suspect the show’s writers could use Episode 7 to bring her into the main story before she takes center stage in her own series.
One fan on X put it bluntly: “It’s time for Neagley to show up and kick some a*s to save Reacher.” Another pointed toward the cliffhanger itself, suggesting, “This scene right here is where Neagley comes in.”
A separate post simply asked where Neagley has been and said it was time for her to “save the day.
Another fan predicted that Reacher will return the favor by appearing in the Neagley spinoff.
There is plenty of trouble for Neagley to walk into. Episode 6, Plum Out of Luck, leaves Reacher and Tamara trapped after Leo Ahlquist orders his security force to eliminate them from his company. The pair loses control of the flash drive, gets beaten down, and ends up inside a transport truck.
When its doors open in the woods, a couple of men wait outside, with guns in hand. Meanwhile, Jacob lands in Docherty’s custody, while Congressman Sampson begins pursuing Reacher, Ahlquist, and the conspiracy surrounding them.
The series also continues moving away from Gone Tomorrow, the Lee Child novel that inspired much of the season. With two episodes left before the September 16 finale, Episode 7 has plenty of room for a surprise entrance. Fans, though, are convinced it will be Neaggley.
