Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed back in the UK on August 26 for an extended family stay. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to have a “busy” schedule during this time. On that note, a source claims that the Waleses’ packed itinerary during the Sussexes’ return after six years is sending a clear message.
Source reveals Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a ‘busy’ Autumn
A source has revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be keeping notably busy this autumn, balancing a demanding schedule of royal engagements.
According to the Daily Express, Princess Catherine may join William for his upcoming tour of India in November. Officials have not yet confirmed her appearance, but if it happens, it will mark their first foreign engagement since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to Britain.
The royal heir will be heading to India in November for the 2026 Earthshot Prize, with specific dates still to be finalized. The Prince launched the Earthshot Prize in 2020 as a global movement that finds, supports and rewards pioneering solutions to repair our planet.
The visit comes just weeks after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relocation to the UK. The family is currently settling into life back in the UK, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet due to start school in September.
Even with the Sussexes back, King Charles and senior members of the royal family will reportedly maintain “business as usual.” Sharing their insight, a source said, “Autumn will be a busy one, but it’s not in any way a reaction to the Sussexes’ return. These engagements take months and sometimes years of preparation to pull together so it’s a case of business as usual.”
In addition to the Waleses’ autumn engagements, the King and Queen Camilla will travel to Antigua and Barbuda next month. His Majesty will also undertake a state visit to Guyana and a royal visit to the Bahamas, where he serves as head of state.
