One Night Only has secured a physical media release date. Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner’s raunchy romantic comedy was released just last month. The film received mixed reviews and grossed just over $20 million worldwide. Universal Pictures has announced that the film will debut on digital platforms in September, followed by a physical media release in October.
The film follows Owen (Callum Turner) and Allie (Monica Barbaro) in a romance set in a world where singles are allowed to have sex only one night a year. “As their night spirals into a series of uproarious missteps and unexpected side quests, they realize that the very thing they are looking for might be closer than they think,” reads the synopsis.

Besides Turner and Barbaro, the film stars Maya Hawke, Molly Ringwald, LeVar Burton, and more. It was directed by Will Gluck based on a screenplay by Travis Braun. The film received criticism for its controversial decision to cut most of the nudity filmed for it. The film has a 44% score on Rotten Tomatoes, although audiences seemed to like it more, with most praising Barbaro’s performance.
One Night Only releases on Digital on September 8, 2026. It will then be released on physical media on October 6, 2026.
