Ice Cream Man Digital, 4K UHD, & Blu-ray Release Dates Set for Controversial Eli Roth Horror Movie

Ice Cream Man has confirmed home entertainment release dates, including digital, Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD. Eli Roth’s horror comedy will arrive on digital first, followed by physical releases in October and November.

The film will be available to buy or rent digitally on September 22, 2026, through Paramount Global Content Distribution. The physical releases will follow with Blu-ray and DVD on October 20. A Limited 4K UHD & Blu-ray Collector’s Edition SteelBook will then arrive on November 17.

Directed by Roth, Ice Cream Man stars Ari Millen as a mysterious vendor whose treats trigger deadly madness among children. The 86-minute film also features Benjamin Byron Davis, Roth, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, and Charlie Storey.

Set in the fictional seaside town of Bayleen Bay, the story takes place during summer. A small group of unaffected children must uncover the truth behind the mysterious newcomer. Their search comes as the town descends further into chaos.

What special features do the physical media releases for Ice Cream Man come with?

The Blu-ray and DVD editions include three featurettes covering different aspects of the production. “Ice Cream Man: The Backstory” explores the film’s development and classic horror inspirations. “The Ice Cream Truck” examines its nightmare-inducing vehicle, while “Kidpocalypse” looks at the gruesome practical effects.

The releases also include exclusive interviews with Roth and Ari Millen. Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition SteelBook offers additional bonus material alongside its collectible packaging. It includes an exclusive slipcover, collectible art cards, and scratch-and-sniff stickers.

The 4K UHD and Blu-ray SteelBook also features commentary from Roth and co-writer Noah Belson. Additional extras include cast and crew interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, Roth’s short films, and a trailer gallery.

Besides directing Ice Cream Man, Roth co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Belson. The film was produced by Roth, Kate Harrison Karman, Christopher Woodrow, and Raj B. Singh. Ice Cream Man is not rated, and not recommended for children.
