Brad Pitt‘s Cliff Booth movie has a new title, but fans want more than another teaser. Netflix recently revealed the new title, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, and gave a brief glimpse of Pitt’s return. However, the fans are asking one big question.
With less than three months until the sequel’s release, no full trailer has been released for the highly anticipated movie. Some fans began questioning the release date of the trailer.
@FilmHistorian34 questioned, “Full trailer when?” Echoing this, @VanWinkle2112 asked, “Trailer soon? It’s coming out in 12 weeks! That’s soon! Aren’t trailers usually out by now?” @Weirdadverb expressed their frustration and wrote, “If you think 9 seconds is a teaser, I feel sorry for your wife”
The movie, previously titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth. However, the new title adds a comedic tone that fits the direction of Pitt’s character in the sequel. The teaser also showed a brief glimpse of Pitt in his iconic Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood role, driving a convertible.

Although the official trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth has not yet been released, some details about the upcoming movie are already out. The movie will serve as OUATIH’s standalone sequel.
In the 2019 movie, Booth worked as the personal stunt double for Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Set in 1977, the upcoming movie follows Booth eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. In the movie, Pitt’s character works as a Hollywood studio fixer, dealing with the industry’s dark secrets.
The movie is directed by David Fincher from a script by Quentin Tarantino. Alongside Pitt, Timothy Olyphant will also reprise his role as James Stacy. The ensemble also includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Peter Weller.
DiCaprio won’t be reprising his role as Dalton in the movie; however, the Titanic star expressed his support for the sequel.
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will open in IMAX theaters on November 25, 2026, for a two-week engagement. It will then debut on Netflix on December 23.
