A huge Disney crossover special is available for streaming on Disney+ today. The collaboration between Disney and LEGO brings some of the most beloved characters together on screen. This crossover is part of Disney’s World Princess Week.
LEGO Disney Princess: Magical Mayhem is available on Disney+ as an original special from August 21, 2026. This 22-minute special reunites some of the most beloved princesses in a world full of madness.
The official synopsis reads, “During a heavy rainstorm, the Princess characters and their sidekick friends take in animals in need while enjoying a cozy day in their castle. But when the animals run amok, chaos erupts. Sleuthing reveals a mischievous villain behind it all, and with teamwork, quick thinking, and help from an unexpected friend, the Princess characters must restore order and save their home.”
The Disney Princess crossover brings beloved characters together
The new special brings some of the most beloved Disney Princesses together on screen once again. These include Ariel, Rapunzel, Moana, Snow White, Mulan, and Jasmine.
Other beloved characters like the Cheshire Cat, Flounder, and Mushu are featured in the special, alongside many more. However, princesses such as Cinderella, Aurora, and Belle will not be present, despite appearing in previous specials.
The LEGO Disney Princess: Magical Mayhem movie is helmed by Randi Rodrigues and Jake Wilkinson. Rodrigues and Wilkinson also helmed the prequel called LEGO Disney Princess: Villains Unite, which was released on August 25, 2026. Before this, in 2023, the first special called LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest was released, directed by Michael D. Black.
Magical Mayhem’s ensemble includes Jodi Benson, Auli’i Cravalho, Mandy Moore, Anika Noni Rose, Katie Von Till, Linda Larkin, Ming-Na Wen, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Corey Burton, Kaitlyn Robrock, Haley Clair, and Jim Cummings. Rachel Vine is credited as the screenwriter. Joel Bradley served as Head of Production with Jennifer Twiner McCarron, Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, Pamela J. Keller, and Robert Fewkes, as executive producers.
