Ben Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez reportedly almost bumped into each other recently on August 20. The two stars were spotted at the same office building in Los Angeles at the same time. It is unclear whether they met each other inside the West Hollywood building.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez narrowly missed each other as they were spotted leaving the same building. Just Jared shared photographs of the “On the Floor” hitmaker arriving at the building. She donned ashen grey pants and a stylish white halter-neck top, with her hair tied in a sleek ponytail.
She carried a black Dior handbag and opted for her usual glam makeup of defined lashes and burgundy glossy lipstick. As per the outlet, when Lopez arrived, she may have spotted Affleck’s purple $360K Cadillac Celestiq parked nearby.
The “Batman” star, on the other hand, had a neutral expression as he was photographed driving away from the building in a striped button-down shirt.
There is no clarity on whether the former couple crossed paths or not. Since it is a big complex, the chances are probably low.
The former couple first got engaged in 2002 and split two years later in 2004. Affleck and Lopez reconnected in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. However, in 2024, the singer-actress filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2025.
Affleck and Lopez reportedly did not have a smooth marriage, and his close bond with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, always drove a wedge between them. A source told Closer: “Throughout his marriage to J.Lo, Ben was always raving about the other Jennifer like she was some sort of saint.”
The source explained that whenever the “Gone Girl” star and Lopez had a fight, he would go “running” to his other ex, Garner. “After they split, seeing photos of him and Jennifer together was painful and humiliating for her,” according to the source.
