Princess Diana’s Brother Has Made His Choice Between Her Sons — Expert

Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has written a book on her life. Subsequently, a royal expert discussed Spencer’s decision to dedicate a book to his late sister’s life. During the interview, the expert also shared the 9th Earl Spencer’s choice between his nephews, Princes William and Harry.

Royal expert reveals who Charles Spencer sides with

In his interview with GB News, royal expert Tom Bower analyzed the reason behind Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, writing a book on her. “He’s doing it because he just wants to set the record, his record straight, and also it is a fascinating story,” Bower added that Spencer has “got a very special angle.” Moreover, the biographer made a shocking claim about whom Diana’s brother prefers between her sons — Prince Harry and Prince William.

Bower said Spencer is “furious with King Charles.” The expert added the Earl “doesn’t like William” and is “very pro-Harry.” The expert continued that he is “awfully unhappy about how his sister was treated, and he is a good writer.” The book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, will release next month. Bower also drew comparisons between the book and the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, “Spare,” saying, “[Charles Spencer] has a story to tell.”

However, Bower wonders whether it will be a true, honest, and balanced story or will it be “vindictive.” He also wonders about the amount of “authenticity.” Bower said, “Harry’s book was filled with absolute untruths and fabrications.” As such, he hopes “Charles Spencer actually presents a balanced account of his sister’s tragic life.”

In a statement released on Tuesday, Spencer shared that, with Diana’s 30th death anniversary approaching, he has been “inundated” with interview requests to speak about her. “This has convinced me to write down my own thoughts and memories, once and for all,” he said. The 62-year-old Earl explained it’s better than “the discomfort of again reading the opinions of others, many of which are based on untruths that have become accepted over time.” He also hoped the “book will be of interest to the many who still cherish the memory of Diana when she was alive.”
